Warming Winter Days

INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons dried ginger, which aids digestion.
1 teaspoon cinnamon, which may cut heart disease.
20 raspberries: this fruit has anti-inflamatory qualities.
20 red grapes (deseeded): this fruit may lower blood pressure.
2.5 cups apple juice: apples may be a pro-biotic and provide good gut bacteria.
2.5 cups water; an important ingredient in the drink as drinking water is important to ensure good brain function and to improve concentration.
METHOD
1. Place the dried ginger and cinnamon in either a blender or in a medium sized bowl (using a hand-blender).
2. Add the raspberries, grapes and apple juice and blend until smooth.
3. Transfer to a saucepan, add the water, stir and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
